Supply chain solutions provider Manhattan Associates has received the Best Young Asian Supply Chain Solution Provider Award at the SCMLogistics Excellence Awards.

The award recognizes the top new Asian start-up that provides technological solutions within the supply chain realm. Manhattan Associates was recognized for its full suite of supply chain solutions including warehousing, inventory and transportation solutions.

The panel of judges awarding the prize was composed of industry experts including AMR Research, Singapore Institute of Materials Management (SIMM), ARC Advisory Group, RosettaNet Asia and Singapore Aircargo Agents Association (SAAA). The panelists’ assessment included consideration of the quality of the supply chain technology provided as well as market size, geographical reach, turnover and revenue over the last five years. Other factors the committee considered included depth and breadth of functionality, system performance, ease of use of solutions and the underlying infrastructure such as professional services, customer support and client profiles.

SCMLogistics Excellence Awards 2005 is the first award of its kind. No other group recognizes manufacturing companies with operations in Asia that have achieved significant success in implementing supply chain management strategies as well as individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in supply chain and logistics management.
