Advanced ID Corporation announced that it is making its DataTRACTM, UHF / RFID Livestock - Poultry Traceability product available on an aggressive international basis.
The company is working with leading regulatory and government organizations in the United States and globally.
The company says it is increasing production capabilities and has negotiated emergency reductions in costs that will be shared with governments, regulatory agencies, industry and farmers.
According to Allen Zhang, Chairman of Carlyle RFID Technologies, Inc., which is a joint venture, partially owned by the Guangdong Province of China, “The program managers in the province are working on a complete poultry identification and trace-back program and have looked at the Thailand program as an effective model. The Thailand program relies heavily on products, database capture capabilities and technology developed by Advanced ID Corp. The test results and data have consistently been outstanding. We expect that the Chinese program will closely emulate the Thailand model.” Carlyle RFID Technologies is Advanced ID Corp’s distributor in Guangdong Province.
In 2004, after nearly three years of development, Advanced ID Corporation began commercializing its ultra high frequency (UHF) DataTRACTM tags, readers, and trace-back management solutions. Advanced ID Corporation products provide reliable and cost effective solutions for identification and trace-back of livestock throughout the live animal supply chain.
The Advanced ID DataTRACTM identification system has been used in bulk supply traceability of poultry in Asia over the past two years. DataTRACTM provides superior performance according to studies and a published report entitled “RFID for Food Animal Identification in North America” by AIM Global, the trade association recognized as the worldwide authority on automatic identification and mobility.
