The State Golden Card Project Coordination Leader Team Office has listed Qingdao as one of the first batch of cities where RFID applications will be experimented.

Upon becoming a trial city, Qingdao will mainly use RFID for logistics management, production line management, harbor container management, vehicle management, tire production, sales management and aquatics management.

RFID is the short form for Radio Frequency Identification. It is similar to the series code on the goods and is usually called e-tags. It can be used as a highly accurate and efficient identification tool.
